The Tustin
Community Foundation's LIVEgreen program aims to raise environmental awareness and increase
motivation for conservation and recycling in the greater
Tustin area.
Sponsored by
, our mutual goal is to encourage local non-profit
organizations, businesses and residents to
LIVEgreen along with TCF.
Our LIVEgreen
Program is once again partnering with the Tustin
Meadows Homeowners Association at thier
semi-annual Dumpster Days, to greatly reduce the
amount of waste going into the landfills,
encourate item re-use, and save money for the
Homeowners Association. LIVEgreen
has brought together All-Green Electronic Waste
& Recycling, the Salvation Army, and OC
Shredding to participate in the "residents only"
event.
(Community Ties - Sept 2011)
If
your neighborhood or Association is interested

THANK YOU to
Union Bank, Tustin Ranch
Branch, for your 2010 $500 Grant to
support
LIVEgreen!
Since the passage of AB 939, cities and
municipal solid waste special districts within Orange County
must ensure they follow the mandated waste diversion rate of
50%. Using the toolkit below, you can help educate your
constituents to encourage waste reduction and meet your
community’s goals.
10% in 2011
