Gene Micco is an
innovative leader in the world of banking and a true
philanthropic leader in the greater Tustin
community. Gene currently serves as both Chief
Financial Officer and President-Elect on the Board
of Directors for the Tustin Community Foundation and
as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the
Blind Children's Learning Center.
Gene was instrumental
in resurrecting the Tustin Community Foundation in
2006 after years of relative inactivity. As a direct
result of Gene's active role in all Foundation
events, TCF has been able to financially support
more than 60 diverse and well-deserving
organizations and schools in the Tustin area with
donations totaling over $120,000 in just 3 years.
Gene began cycling
for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society "Team in
Training" eight years ago. He has ridden hundreds of
miles and raised thousands of dollars. He is
passionate about finding a cure for these cancers.
He is a dedicated
family man, married over 31 years to wife Ave' and
father of Leah and Dominic. Gene is the President
and Chief Executive Officer of Tustin Community
Bank. In addition, Gene and his employees have a
reputation for supporting a wide variety of
community events and youth activities including
American Gold Star Mothers, Loaves and Fishes soup
kitchen and the Men’s Club at Sts Simon & Jude
Church.
