Scot has been in the
banking industry since 1979. Beginning his career
with Bank of America and moving through assignments
with increasingly greater responsibility. Scot
joined Farmers & Merchants bank in 2007 and covers
the Santa Ana & Tustin communities with an emphasis
on business development and commercial lending.
From the beginning of
his career Scot has found tremendous satisfaction in
giving back to the community. His early involvement
began by spending 2-years working with Junior
Achievement within their Project Business program.
While with BofA he also spent time helping
coordinate the Orange County Regions fund raising
efforts for United Way and the American Diabetes
Foundation.
Scot began his
involvement in the Tustin community in 1996. He has
served as President of the Tustin Community
Foundation while spending 6-years on its Board of
Directors. Presently Scot is serving in his 7th year
on the Board of Directors for the Tustin Chamber of
Commerce as Immediate Past Chairman of the Board
after serving 2-years as Chairman. Additionally,
Scot has served as Vice President for a Irvine based
chapter of Business Network International (BNI) and
has been a member of BNI for nearly 5-years.
Scot is married to
Linda, they have 4-adult children, a son-in-law and
3-grandchildren. Living in Mission Viejo, Scot
enjoys hiking, music and entertaining with family
and friends as much as possible.
