Another key role of the Tustin Community
Foundation is to strengthen non-profit organizations
that are crucial to the health and vitality of our
community.
Many high school athletic teams and service clubs do
not have the parental or booster support to raise
the funds necessary to cover their overhead and
basic expenses nor can they plan and manage their
own fundraisers.
Other Tustin area non-profit organizations do not
have the number of volunteers or members necessary
to properly staff or organize enough fundraisers.
To meet these needs, the Foundation assists local
non-profit organizations and schools in their
fundraising capabilities so that they can grow and
become more effective. Any local organization
eligible for Tustin Community Foundation grants
shall be eligible for this program.
The non-profit or school organization must commit to
use the funds for purposes approved by the Tustin
Community Foundation. Approved purposes include
general operating expenses, scholarships, projects,
programs, equipment and Tustin Unified School
District fees. All net proceeds benefit the
nonprofit or school organization.
